We've got comets!
Thursday I posted about Coment NEAT, coming to the Northern Hemisphere on or about May 5. Today I learned that it's only one of what may be an extremelyrare "triple play." In coming weeks three comets may be visible to the unaided eye simultaneously, Comet Bradfield (discovered only last Tuesday) and Comet Linear being the other two. According to today's Astronomy Picture of the Day: Along with T7 and Q4, Comet Bradfield is now the third comet that is currently visible on the sky with the unaided eye, the most ever of which we are aware and quite possibly the most in recorded history [links are APOD's].
