Cheney v. U.S. District Court

The Supreme Court reached a decision — of sorts — on the question of making public the secret details of the Cheney energy task force. KSBW headlines its story "Supreme Court Upholds Secrecy Of Cheney's Task Force," while the Sierra Club titles its press release "Supreme Court Rejects Cheney's Right to Secrecy." As near as I can tell, from the little I've read, the truth is that they merely sent the case back to the District Court to reconsider. The decision comprises four different opinions: the Court's opinion; Stevens, concurring; Thomas & Scalia, concurring in part and dissenting in part; and Ginsberg & Souter, dissenting.
